Unhappy with the direction CATS PROTECTION in the UK was taking (wasting a lot of precious resources on needless staff, too much management and bureaucracy), Pauline and three friends set up an alternative cat charity, just for Shetland. Shetland Cat Rescue is now up and running, helping both the feral community and re-homing cats whose owners can no longer care for them.
